PATRIZIO PAOLETTI FOUNDATION: THE MOST SIGNIFICANT DATES

2000
The Patrizio Paoletti Foundation was founded at the dawn of the Third Millennium with the aim of conducting neuroscientific research on human learning potential, in order to promote effective education for all through Pedagogy for the Third Millennium.

2004
With the Schools in the World program, the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation began its international activities in support of education in low- and middle-income countries. Over the years, Schools in the World has included the implementation of more than 30 projects, 52 pedagogical training missions, and the training of over 3,500 teachers and educators in 12 countries.

2009
The Assisi International School (AIS) is launched, a bilingual school that combines the Montessori Method with Pedagogy for the Third Millennium. It is a cutting-edge educational model for learners aged 24 months to 14 years, which combines enriched teaching with a strong focus on continuous teacher training. It has recently been selected as a representative institution for central Italy within the National EDU Program of the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO.

2012
With the food project “1 Million Meals,” the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation works on the front line against the economic crisis that has increased poverty levels in Italy. Through initiatives across the national territory and thanks to the awareness campaign “Carovana del Cuore,” hundreds of volunteers have been involved in distributing hot meals to people in temporary hardship.

2016
At the headquarters of the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation in Assisi, the laboratories for neuroscientific research of the RINED Research Institute for Neuroscience Education and Didactics are inaugurated. The creation of these laboratories makes it possible to strengthen research on cognition and movement in the educational field, as well as on the phenomenology of consciousness, through the study of meditative practices.

2017
The “Envisioning the Future” program is launched, a training path focused on awareness, hope, and resilience, supporting populations affected by the Central Italy earthquake. Due to its effectiveness and appreciation, the project has expanded and is now present across the entire national territory with specific adaptations, involving 229,880 people, including students, teachers, and parents, Ukrainian refugee families in Italy, and juvenile prison staff.

2022
To date, approximately 285,000 beneficiaries, including children, families, and teachers, have been reached worldwide by the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation through projects ranging from early support to education and training for parents and educators.
