It is a question very different from the usual ones. As parents, we often ask ourselves what we should do, how to behave with our children, how they should behave with us, and rarely do we consider this other type of question: What kind of parent do I want to be? What do I want my child to remember and learn from me? What do I truly want from the educational relationship?
In this video lesson, you will be guided by the neuro-psycho-pedagogical team of the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation to discover what happens in our brain when we ask ourselves this type of question. Neuroscience confirms that these questions trigger the processes that give us access to the part of our brain capable of prefiguring and abstract thinking, which is unique to our species. It is thanks to this part of us that we are able not to be overwhelmed by what happens, but to interact with and overcome even difficult and challenging moments, achieving the desired change.
