Awareness of the centrality of education is increasingly deepening

The registers for pedagogists and educators are born, while awareness of the centrality of education is increasingly deepening. A fundamental role is played by the training of educators and by neuro-psycho-pedagogical research, where science contributes to shaping the humanity of tomorrow.

School as social well-being

The 2023 ISTAT Equitable and Sustainable Well-Being Report highlights how school and education are key factors in building well-being and social equality. Data shows an increase in attendance at libraries and early childhood educational services. Italian students are more likely to continue their studies, increasing the number of high school and university graduates. School is no longer just a place for passing on information and knowledge, now more easily accessible thanks to new technologies. The school system is, rather, a world where skills are acquired and developed to apply knowledge and find solutions. Among these skills, relational abilities are fundamental in a society that demands communication and cooperation. In this context of needing up-to-date and high-quality education, attention to professionals in the sector is increasingly central.

Working in education: educators and pedagogists

The Senate recently approved the measure regarding the profession of the pedagogist, a specialist in educational processes. They will have coordination, advisory, and supervisory functions for the design of interventions in the pedagogical, educational, and training fields. The publication in the Official Gazette on April 23 establishes the registers of pedagogists and professional socio-pedagogical educators. Both professionals will enroll in the new Order of Pedagogical and Educational Professions. This represents a formal, as well as substantial, recognition of the central role of education in society.

The importance of neuro-psycho-pedagogical research

To respond to social complexities and evolving technologies, it is necessary to train effective and conscious educators, pedagogists, and teachers. For this, psycho-pedagogical research, supported and accompanied by the most advanced neuroscientific discoveries, is fundamental. We can speak of true neuro-psycho-pedagogical research, which values collaboration and integration between knowledge and excellence. The RINED Institute of the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation conducts neuro-psycho-pedagogical research in collaboration with universities and national and international institutions. Using scientific methods and criteria, the RINED Institute studies the development of soft skills, conscious movement, silence, and meditation. Among its goals is lifelong learning, for the continuous and intentional learning of educators and teachers.

Educating educators, including with artificial intelligence

With the training project Prefigurare il Futuro, the Patrizio Paoletti Foundation supports the entire learning community, including children, educators, and parents. For the training of teachers worldwide, the Foundation and New Life for Children also invest in artificial intelligence, with Teachers Outreach. The project aims to ensure equitable and quality education, spreading the contents of Third Millennium Pedagogy, based on awareness. Supporting teacher research and training is fundamental to building today’s and tomorrow’s well-being through education. This is the foundation of society: the root, seed, and fruit of culture to be shared.
