Submission
The pre-filled Modello 730 will be submitted directly to the Revenue Agency, either personally or via a CAF or accountant. You can also submit it through your employer if they are authorized to transmit the Modello.
Submit by September 30 via CAF or accountant.

Submission
Submit the completed and signed form in a sealed envelope at any post office. This service is free. On the envelope, write “Form for the allocation choices of the eight, five, and two per mille of IRPEF,” your tax identification number, and your full name.

Submit the completed and signed Modello Redditi at a post office. Alternatively, you can contact your local CAF or accountant, who will submit it electronically.

The 5×1000 costs me nothing. Is that true?
It’s true.
The 5×1000 is a portion of your IRPEF (income tax). It is not an additional expense. If you choose not to allocate your 5×1000, that portion of IRPEF will still be paid to the State.
I already donate the 8×1000: can I also choose to donate the 5×1000?
They are two separate and non-exclusive actions.
Donating the 8×1000 is a choice that each taxpayer can continue to make independently of the option to allocate the 5×1000.
What exactly do I need to do to ensure that my contribution goes to Fondazione Paoletti?
Simply sign in the box labeled “Funding scientific research and universities” or in the box for “Support for non-profit social organizations…,” entering the tax identification number in the space below your signature.
What happens if I sign only without entering the tax identification number?
If the tax identification number is not provided, the amount will not be allocated to Fondazione Patrizio Paoletti, but will instead be distributed proportionally among the organizations in the same category based on the number of preferences they received.
I’m not required to file a tax return: can I still choose who to allocate my 5×1000 to?
Yes, the choice to allocate the 5×1000 is independent of filing a tax return (Redditi or 730).
Everyone who has received the CU can still donate the 5×1000. To do this, you must go to a post office or a CAF and submit the 5×1000 allocation form attached to the CU, properly completed and signed, free of charge, by the same deadline as the submission of the Modello Redditi tax return.
The form must be delivered in a sealed envelope on which to write:
- the wording “choice for the allocation of the 5×1000 of IRPEF”
- the year to which the certification refers
- your tax identification number, surname, and first name.
